Listing of Global Shamanic Circles
Wherever our journeys take us around this beautiful blue planet, Mother Earth, we can connect with shamanic circles everywhere: Drumming, Rattling, Singing praise to the spirits of the homelands as we journey to the ancestors who await our visit, and continue to build harmonious and reconnecting relationships with our brothers and sisters around Mother Earth. This is truly the Web of Life, and we are awakening and exploring the ever growing shamanic community in this millennium. Join us along your travels wherever they
make take you. |

Drumming Circle
Edmonton, Alberta
Drumming Circle
The Drumming Circle is still going strong led by Erin and Patti. They hold them
on the first and third Fridays of the month at the Unitarian Church located at
10804 – 119 street in Edmonton. The circle starts at 7 and is generally over by 9.
The cost is still a bank breaking $5.
You need to bring with you a blanket to lay on, a cover for your eyes and a journal
to record your experiences and thoughts in. I would bring slippers because it is a
cement floor under that carpet and by golly my toes got cold.
You can find the page under Shaman’s Journey Drumming Circle on Facebook.
Each circle has a different theme and is always well put together.

Spirit of the Drums Circle
Our group was started just over a year ago by Monica Tripani. We are
an open group, welcome to all new members, and welcome all from other
groups. We drum every Monday night from 7pm to 8:30pm. We also drum at
other times. Last year we organized an International drumming for peace
on the Summer Solstice, June 21 at 7pm on both sides of the St.Claire
River between Canada and the U.S.A. There were over 300 Participants.
We are organizing again this year and would
like to have participation in each time zone
at 7pm Thursday June 21, Summer Solstice. It
would be nice to see drumming right across North
America at 7pm in each time zone. Hoping you
can pass the word along and help in our small
way to bring peace throughout the World.

Monthly Healing Circles / ThunderWolf Medicine Lodge & Sanctuary
Healing Circles meet on a Saturday evening as close to the Full Moon as possible. Our Circles are open to new people
and visiting practitioners from out of town. We offer community support for shamanic practitioners mentoring one another.
Extraction and Soul Retrieval can be on the agenda as directed by the attending Spirits for the client in need. Our intention
is to strengthen our Core Shamanic skills by providing healing for ourselves, the community and each other in co-operation
with Nature. This circle does tend to have a simple but different thematic undercurrent each month.
6:30pm - 7:00 -social
time 7:00pm - 9:30 -Ceremony 9:30pm - 10:00 -tea, snacks and shopping! 1st Journey for the diagnosis,2nd Journey for the
Healing, 3rd option, is an Inspirational Drumming/Healing for those who request it if time allows. The prerequisite to shamanic
participation is to have either taken the basic training by the Foundation for Shamanic Studies OR have a working knowledge
of basic shamanic practice assisted by your Animal Helping Spirit/Guides. Bring a clear intention to be of service, a friend and

ENGLAND, UNITED KINGDOM
Bath, England
Bath Shamanic Journeying Circle
Our circle has been meeting since March 2009;
we meet on the first Sunday of the month at
7pm, within the city centre of Bath. Our circle
was originally set up to offer a safe sacred
space to build a community of people interested
in shamanism to meet and gain support and
knowledge with and from each other.
Our work together is experiential and spirit
given, so before we meet a journey is undertaken
to ask to be shown the work we are to carry out
for the forthcoming circle. We are a small
friendly committed group and we welcome new people
to the circle, because of the nature of
the work we are shown there needs to be a confident
level of experience of being able to
journey. This would include being able to undertake
an upper and lower world journey and
to be able to journey for someone else. If you
are seeking a way to learn to journey, or to
improve your confidence in the practice, you
are more than welcome to contact us and we can
discuss this and point you in the right direction
to take your next steps; a few of us are trained
to teach journeying:
Please bring drum, rattle (if you have one)
and something to cover your eyes when journeying,
also anything you would like to add to the alter.
The cost of the evening is shared equally
between the numbers of people that attend; we
look forward to meeting and working with you.

SPAIN TARRAGONA,
CATALUÑA
Shaman Group Therapy: Energetic Alignment
Energetic alignment is a therapy that takes its
origin from the shaman tribes in Amazonia and that
adapted its cure technique to the western world,
getting rid of a few of traditional rituals such
as absorbing plants for example. We all vibrate
to a determined sequence of which the Universe is
responding by pairing us off with people or situation
which frequency is similar to ours. Doubts, fears
and contradictory objectives take away from our
experience field what we really wish, what is really
good for ourselves. The shaman channels and incorporates
in his energetic camp those low frequency vibrations,
and with the help of the spiritual dimension, send
it back to us enlightened and cured, helping us
to harmonize our own life.
2 Brazilian shamans, Carlos Henrique Alves and
Leticia Tui come to Spain every 2 or 4 months
to help people bring harmony to their life. They
organize what is called in Spanish: "rueda
de cura" best translated as "wheel of
Cure" which gathers a group of people who
gets treated and actively participate to the shaman
treatment. The group therapy is opened to anyone.

Hi,
We are a little group in the south part of Sweden,
i. e. Skane, and we have been working together for
about two years. We try to mix together core shamanism
with our native knowledge of herbal and spirit work.
We don't do workshops, because we're still learning
ourselves. The group meets on unregular basis but
always on every third month. We work a lot in the
deep forests of our country but also in municipal
areas depending of the occasion and type of work.
The group is open to guests or newcomers but you
should have a basic understanding of shamanism.

Our school provides the best instruction, training,
and life experience available in Alaska for those
who enjoy Wilderness Adventure / Ecological Stewardship
Projects / & Documentary Production. We accomplish
this by blending indigenous wisdom such as Shamanism
with the merging fields of video • computer
• & telecommunications technology.
This Mystery School is open to all. We especially
welcome those who share a respect for all living
creatures and are interested in living sustainably
and symbiotically with nature and people. Our
vision is seeing people doing the work they love
and sharing the highlights with our local and
global community.
The Alaska Wilderness School mission is bringing
people and nature together. Wilderness Adventure
/ Ecological Stewardship / & Documentary Production
are the primary ways that we experience this.
Survival / Holistic Living / & Sustainable
Development are three major objectives. Our long-term
goal is Higher Education & Deep Ecology for
Economic Prosperity.
"In a healthy society, economy always follows
ecology, and education precedes them both."
-Ken Carey, VISION
There are no requirements for membership though
there are several different levels of particiapation.
Some are free, others require a small fee to offset
costs. Everyone is encouraged to review the following
three ancient forms of wisdom for humanity that
are the basis for the Alaska Wilderness School
and all that we do. These include: The Golden
Rule / The Four Agreements (Toltec People) / and
the Hawaiian Principles which may be found on
our website: AlaskaWildSchool.com.
These are simple guidelines for freedom, getting
along well with others, and developing direct,
personal experience and connection between Spirit
/ Self / & Nature.
The Alaska Wilderness School is dedicated to
sustainable development of education & ecology
for a prosperous economy. The administration and
operation of this school are based upon the best
indigenous wisdom and modern technology available.
Learning, experiencing, and sharing the way of
the Shaman are integral to nearly every aspect
of the what we do. Our goals include providing
the instruction, hands-on training and resources
necessary for people to do the work they love
while earning a decent living, particularly in
ways that are beneficial to people, animals, plants,
trees, and ecosystems large and small.

Practicing the Shamanic
Journey 2
Meets the first Tuesday of the month from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Come early in
order to start at 7:00. Doors will be open at 6:30.
Many of us have learned the invaluable tool of journeying to the Lower, Middle,
or Upper Worlds of non-ordinary reality in order to meet our Spirit Helpers.
This visionary method is used world-wide to seek answers to problems, to obtain
physical, emotional, and spiritual healing, and to restore power, purpose, and well-
being into our lives. On our own, however, it can sometimes be challenging to
practice shamanic journeying, especially when we wish to do so with others.
If you would like to continue using the Michael Harner method of journeying for
yourself, and/or others, in a like-minded group setting, please consider joining us
on the first Tuesday of the month for this new drumming circle.
In addition to
journeying, we'll also be discussing shamanic topics that emerge from the group,
or from events happening to, or in our local and larger communities.
Location: Visions and Dreams Bookstore, 2482 Newport Blvd. Costa Mesa,
CA.
Cost is $15.00 at the door by cash or check payable to Karen Palmer.
Pre-requisite: Instruction in basic journeying from the FSS staff or from another
teacher or friend. Any level of experience is fine. For those who would like to be
a part of our circle and don't know how to journey please contact me.
Bring a mat, blanket, or sitting cushion; bandana or eye covering; water; journal
and pen; any small sacred object for the altar; drum or rattle if you have one; warm
socks; and a sense of adventure.

Los Angeles, CA Living
In Beauty
For native people of every land, everything and
everyone that exists has a purpose. The Hopis believe
that each person is given this as a gift at birth
by the Creator, and that it is one's mission to
bring this gift into being in his or her own lifetime.
The Navajo call this walking in beauty -- living
in balance with all of creation by remaining true
to one's essential Self.
Living In Beauty walks this path as a way of embracing
life. For gay men. Small, 4-person groups meet 2
hours each week, exploring inner realms and states
of being through dreams, ritual, imaginal states
and the shamanic state of entrainment. Soul retrievals,
vision seeking and power quests, along with practices
of energy medicine, are integral parts of the work.
As the experience is both cumulative and progressive,
an ongoing commitment to attend is required. For
gay men serious about the journey to transforming
themselves and our world.

Shamanic Healing Circle
Join us for our regular healing circle. The concept we follow is to create a sacred space wherein
we can create a circle of trust. In that space and in that circle we will share our stories in a circle
of trusted, active listeners. We will explore our stories as a community and eventually focus on fully
understanding the stories, sharing our different perspectives on those stories, examining the players
in the stories, and exploring different outcomes. Where necessary, we will learn and apply shamanic
healing methods to enable and empower circle members to heal the spiritual pain we may have
experienced during this current earthwalk. We wiil create and participate in ceremony as we grow.
Small donation will help. Bring drums and rattles. Advanced shamanic training workshops can be arranged.

Hands & Hearts Frame Drum Circle
Women, Men, Beginners, Newcomers, Visitors welcome! As a frame drum Circle of
women and men of open hearts and healing Spirits, our intention is to celebrate Mother
Earth in a mix of Pagan and Native American styles! If you can, bring finger food to share,
and an altar offering. See our site for meeting dates, times, places.
Cerena Childress has attended many sweats, Bear Dances, and elder gatherings. Jeanne
Northsinger has a lot of experience with Circles and ceremonies over many years. Most
were all women, some included respectful and spiritual men. We intend to send love and
energy to all beings, to strengthen ourselves to do that! We want to establish a safe place
to share deeper connections with others, restore the balance between men and women,
share wisdom, create a whole that is greater than the sum of the parts!

Santa Cruz Drumming Circle
We meet once a month, usually the last Wednesday
from 6:30-8:30. Our Circle is closed now but we
welcome shamanic travelers coming through Santa
Cruz. Our only request is that they contact me (Carol)
before coming so that we can change our plans if
needed......to welcome the pilgrim and the stranger
along the shamanic highways. We have been meeting
for 9 years and just this last week 'reformed' our
Circle for the second time. A core group of us has
been steady with this Circle and have been profoundly
impressed with how Power builds, Spirits bless,
and unexpected healings occur because a strong container
has been developed over these years. We have now
decided to experiment with different states of trance
discover other methods for perforating the membranes
of the usual 'husk' surrounding our bodies and see
what new ways and visions Spirits will reveal to
us. We are excited about this new evolution in our
Circle. We used to meet twice a month and discovered
that by having a Circle that had met for so many
years, with only one meeting a month we could quickly
enter shamanic awareness and do what we used to
accomplish in two monthly sessions!! Love, Carol

Healing Drum Gathering
The Healing Drum Gatherings are a gathering of those who wish to experience the healing energy of the
drum, the heartbeat of Mother Earth. The drum has the ability to shift energy in a dramatic way as it is
an integral tool for vibrational healing. The beat of the drum travels directly to the inner core and can
facilitate the release of negative thoughts and behaviors, find the point of creation of illness or dis-ease,
and raise the overall vibration of the entire being.
The intention of this gathering is the creation of a sacred
space and loving community of beings of light and spirit to allow for a deep level of healing for all participants
and to share our raised collective vibration by offering healing and gratitude to earth and spirit.
At the Healing Drum Gatherings we are all teachers and messengers of spirit, so no level of training or ability
is required. If you have a drum or rattle, please bring one with you. If you do not, some will be available at the
Gathering for use. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a notebook and pen.
Suggested donation of $20.
Monthly gatherings. Various locations in CT, frequently Monroe. Please see website for details/schedule.
Must RSVP to attend.

Huna Healing Circle
I have been teaching Hawaiian Shamanism for nearly eight years at the Kalani Honua
Retreat Center on the Big Island of Hawaii every Thursday evening at 7:30. This is the
Kahili form of Huna as taught by Serge Kahili King. Because this is a retreat center
where there is a constant flow of participants, we cover basics at the beginning of each
circle and then explore different aspects of life from a Huna point of view. This generally
culminates in a shamanic journey appropriate to the topic of the evening. While there is
some theory, this is primarily an experiential class. Everyone is welcome.

New Moon Drumming Circle
DRUM CIRCLE SCHEDULE at SAGE SPIRIT TERRA
The Drum Circles at Sage Spirit Terra are Journey
Circles for Personal Empowerment. We go deep within
to the beat of the drum to seek answers for ourselves.
My teachers are from South America; we follow
their methods. The Drum represents the womb &
combined with the masculine beater stick, we create
anew. The original drummers were women from the
inception of the drums in 25,000 BCE.
The Women used single headed drums for ceremonies
for family. The
single-headed drum is used around the world to
achieve altered states of consciousness; to contact
our Guides & Helpers in the Universe who are
waiting for us to ask for help.
The drum circles are open to All who are called
to the New Moon and the Sacred Days in the Circle
of Life. On the New Moon we ask for what we want
to make Manifest on the Full Moon. From the black
void comes All Creation that is why the New Moon
is the most power filled time of the month.

Drumming the Soul Awake
Drumming the Soul Awake meets nearly every Friday in south Minneapolis or St. Paul.
On average 35 people attend. We drum with a variety of instruments: ecstatic & fun as
well as meditative & deep rhythms. We take a break and the second part of the evening
is directly shamanic and ceremonial. The experiences, now in their ninth year, are led by
Jaime Meyer, who has an M.A. in Theology and the Arts from United Seminary of the Twin
Cities and has studied with Tom Cowan, Sandra Ingermann, Martin Prechtel and Ailo Gaup.
Our circle is open and welcoming to new comers, out of towners, the experienced and
inexperienced alike. We are less of a "core shamanism" circle—although we do journey
often—and more of a reverent shamanic community, conducting ongoing ceremonial work
for healing and connection to the spirits of nature.
